https://www.comedycv.co.uk/neilmcfarlane/ Neil McFarlane has been at it for a bit. He started his comedy career in Scotland 20 (Christ!) years ago, and now performs across the length and breadth of the British Isles, attracting widespread concern. He’s also entertained international audiences in places as far-flung as Tenerife, Serbia, Romania, Germany, Malta and the two Channel Islands you can actually get to. Among the clubs and promoters Neil has played for or plays regularly are Breakneck, Monkey Barrel and occasionally the Gilded Balloon in Scotland, and HotWater, Just the Tonic, the Glee, Top Secret, Angel, Downstairs at the Kings Head, Hampstead, Camden, Out of Bounds, Bearcat, Just Fair Laughs, Mirth Control - and he recently did his first MCing job for the Comedy Store, at one of their ‘On the Road’ external shows. Neil reached the Scottish regional final of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2001, came third in the Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2006 and moved to London to become a full-time comic in 2009. He’s performed solo shows at the Glasgow, Manchester, Bath and Brighton comedy festivals as well as a number of full runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.. He's had all his jabs and frequently keeps his clothes on. Allow him gently to divert you from the horrific truth of your own existential plight and occasionally use the word 'seepage'. Testy moan-ials: "A sparky self-effacing wit which cannot possibly fail to please." THEATRE BATH "A clear ability to craft a gag." CHORTLE "Fantastic punchlines." MANCHESTER CITY LIFE "Creamed potato." THE SCOTSMAN
